Job Details:
Holy Cross Orthodox Hospital is a faith based general hospital owned by Uganda Orthodox Church under the Network of Uganda Orthodox Medical Bureau. As a Medical Officer you report directly to the Senior Medical Officer
Job Purpose
To apply medical knowledge and skills to the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of illnesses; working collaboratively with other professionals across the hospital.
Key Activities:
• To take responsibility for the clinical decision making on a day-to-day basis.
• Promoting confidentiality and impartiality
• Participating in continued professional development.
• Adhering to professional Code of Conduct and Ethics.
• Accounting for allocated resources
Qualification, Experience & Competences
Qualification
• To apply medical knowledge and skills to the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of illnesses; working collaboratively with other professionals across the hospital.
A Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine & Surgery (MBChB)
• At least three (3) years working experience as a health worker Experience
Promoting confidentiality and impartiality
• To take responsibility for the clinical decision making on a day-to-day basis.

• Adhering to professional Code of Conduct and Ethics.
