Job Details:
To dispense and advise patients on proper use and storage of medicines.
Personal Specification
Qualifications:
• Must have a Diploma in Pharmacy or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.
• Must be registered and licensed with the Allied Health Professionals Council
Duties and Responsibilities
• Planning for dispensing activities in the hospital.
• Registering all medicines given to patients.
• Advising patients and attendants on proper use and storage of medicines,
• Advising Clinicians and other Health Professionals on prescriptions.
Making requisitions for medicines and health supplies from stores.
• Assisting in the Preparation of quality compounded medicines and infusions.
• Reporting expired and damaged medicines
• Compiling and submitting reports.
• Participating in research activities.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and eligible Ugandans to fill the following contract vacant posts existing in the private wing. Applications must be submitted to the office of the Medical Superintendent at Mityana Hospital, PO Box 52 and not later than 27.08.2022 The applications should bear the title of the job, and applicants must attach certified copies of all the necessary supporting academic documents, photocopy of a national identity card and a recent passport size photograph to the application form.
