Babies and Mothers Alive (BAMA) Foundation is an Ugandan-led non-governmental organization founded in 2004, dedicated to building partnerships that transform the quality of reproductive, materal, and newborn health in Uganda. Working closely with the Ministry of Health, district local governments, local communities, and other partners, BAMA co-designs and implements sustainable, evidence-based interventions that strengthen health systems, build local capacity, and address social and structural barriers to preventable maternal and newborn deaths. BAMA Foundation now seeks to recruit qualified and motivated individuals to support its core Maternal and Newborn Health program and the Integrated Action for Improving Maternal and Newborn Health in the Rwenzori and Busoga regions (WeCare Project).
