About the Role

Zembo is seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Officer to lead our social media content creation and digital campaign efforts. This role will play a key part in driving awareness, engagement, and sales of Zembo’s electric motorcycles with swappable batteries. The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller with a strong grasp of digital platforms, a passion for clean mobility, and the ability to create compelling, locally relevant content that connects with riders, fleet owners, and the general public.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in digital marketing or social media management, preferably in mobility, energy, or FMCG sectors.
  • Proven ability to design and execute social media campaigns end-to-end.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, etc.) and familiarity with Meta Business Suite or similar tools.
  • Strong storytelling, writing, and editing skills in English and at least one local language (e.g., Luganda).
  • Comfortable creating content in the field, engaging with motorcycle riders, and covering events in real-time.
