Background
Exquisite Solution Limited is seeking a qualified Crane Operator to support our client in the oil and gas sector. The role is responsible for safely and efficiently executing all crane lifting operations on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the crane safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures.
- Conduct thorough inspections of the crane to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Perform routine maintenance to keep the crane in optimal operational condition.
- Participate in pre-job safety meetings and accurately follow all lifting operation plans and instructions.
- Wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout the shift.
- Clean and maintain the crane’s hoisting mechanisms to ensure proper functionality.
- Operate lever and pedal controls with precision and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the rig crew and support additional tasks assigned by Rig management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or an equivalent qualification.
- Valid government-approved driving license with the appropriate class for crane operation.
- 2 years of experience as a crane operator.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
