Job Details:
ITM Uganda is hiring Drivers for a client in Security sector. We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to transport employees, goods, or materials safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a valid driving permit (minimum class of B), National certificate in Automotive mechanics and an experience of not less than 3 years in a busy environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport security personnel, equipment, and valuables.
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of staff at designated locations.
- Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any maintenance or repair needs.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and trip details.
- Adhere to company security protocols and respond appropriately to emergency situations.
- Support field operations by remaining alert and responsive to dynamic security needs
Requirements
- A valid driving permit with a minimum of Class B.
- A National Certificate in Automotive Mechanics or a related field.
- At least 3 years of proven driving experience in a busy and high-pressure environment.
- Good knowledge of traffic laws and road safety regulations.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, discipline, and reliability
