Job Details:
To offer efficient and cost effective first line support to end users of office automation and production systems and maintenance of the servers to meet MPL business objectives.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains exchange, TNG, FPR, DTI and output management systems servers.
- Attends to end users of office automation in Microsoft products when they are faced with problems.
- Attends to end users of advertising and editorial systems when they are faced with problems.
- Analyses end users problems and makes recommendations to management for action.
- Trains end users on the installed systems to enhance their efficiency.
- Participate in projects, installation and configuration of desktops and servers
- Configures new equipment e.g. PCs, printers, modems and laptops.
- Implements, evaluates, manages and provides best practice in computer security of server and desktops.
- Maintains the hardware and soft inventories.
- Deploys anti-virus software to all machines.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Academic: University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related field from an accredited institution
Professional: Diploma / Certification in IT
Experience: At least 3 – 5 years’ working experience in IT, preferably in an FMCG company.
