Job Details:
Responsibilities:
1. Be responsible for safety inspection of welding equipment, welding wire, etc.
2. Be responsible for welding in line with the engineering procedures/specifications.
3. Make sure installation is done per drawings, specifications, procedures as well as project design documentation.
4. Abide with the QAQC /HSSE regulations.
5. Be responsible in ensuring proper thickness and filling of weld.
6. Be responsible for sequencing and scheduling of work fronts.
7. Interface with QA/QC to address quality issue.
Requirements
1. National pressure vessel welder Operating Certificate and
2. X-ray examination, grade two and above film qualified.
3. Ensure pipe welding qualified rate of 96%.
4. At least 5 years’ experience in welding long distance pipeline.
5. If they pass the physical examination in the community or at or above the county level medical institutions, they have no diseases or physical defects that prevent them from engaging in the corresponding special operations
Knowledge
1. Familiar with process piping installation standards.
2. Have the necessary safety technical knowledge and skills.
3. Knowledge of materials: base material composition, welding material composition and selection method.
4. Learn to understand welding drawing and welding process, and know the principle and rule of nondestructive testing.
5. Know the cause of certain weld defects, which welding defects, and weld repair process.
6. Knowledge of corrosion
